During day 2 of the Suswa Project Visit, the team focused on recruitment and counseling for the existing and new beneficiaries. 13 children received individual counseling sessions and another 21 children received group counseling sessions.
For these exercises, we continue to work with children from Suswa, Ereteti and Empaash Primary Schools in Suswa. One of our community counselors who is visually impaired sensitized the children on inclusivity of Persons with Disabilities in school and also in their communities. Lastly, an onboarding session was conducted for 11 new beneficiaries after assessment and recruitment.
Children as agents of change against child marriages, child labor, sexual exploitation and Female Genital Mutilation, will continue to be empowered through our work in the region. This is all thanks to Her Future Coalition and the local community for their partnership.
