to host our global partner Sarah Symon, who is the CEO of Her Future Coalition and her friends during their two day visit to our program.Day one started with a visit to Suswa where they met the women who were parents to the children beneficiaries currently enrolled in the Suswa project. While there, they got to experience beadwork which is a Maasai economic activity, and to better understand the transformation that had occured in the women in the past two years. They were now actively involved in providing for the children.
During Day 2, Sarah and her friends accompanied by our CEO Catherine Wanjohi, visited our office in Naivasha town where they met community counselors for a session on art therapy. They later went to the home of one of our mother mentors in Kabati for a cup of tea and to learn more about the impact our program has had in the community over the years.
It was such a glorious moment to host one of our partners!
