Yesterday the Life Bloom team-led in launching the 16 Days of Activism Campaign. In attendance were; the Area County Commissioner, Children Officers, Social Officers, Police Gender Desk, Chiefs, Volunteer Children Officers, Nyumba Kumi, Religious Leaders, Civil Society Partners and most importantly, our girl beneficiaries of The Generosity for Girls Fund (TGGF) project funded by Equality Now
The meeting held was used as a platform to sensitize the stakeholders on sex trafficking and how they play a key role in ending this problem. Afterwards, all stakeholders were called upon to make commitments, one of which was to come together and organize a training for paralegals in Naivasha to enable ease in access to justice for victims and survivors. The Life Bloom team also shared the intersection between Gender Based Violence and Human Trafficking.
Life Bloom identifies the importance of partnerships through duty bearers as one of its key pillars, to bring community transformation!
