In the recent past, Life Bloom actively participated in a research study that was released in 2023, on the “Impact of Programmes and Initiatives addressing Gender-Based Violence as a Constraint to Women’s Economic Empowerment”. The aim of this study was to Generate evidence on what works to effectively respond to and
prevent GBV as a constraint to Women Economic Empowerment. Some of the research findings were that GBV affects women in their reproductive years, and programs geared towards Women Economic Empowerment contributed to improved self-esteem and self-reliance in the women.
This research showed the importance of preventing and/ or ending violence in our communities.
