Life Bloom’s team is attending a 5-days training organized by K-Note that begun on Monday to build on the capacity of service providers in the justice system in Nakuru County.
The objective of the training is to equip service providers in the justice system (including Police Officers, Medical Officers and The Judiciary) on case management, referral guidelines on Gender Based Violence/ Violence against Children (GBV/VAC) and alternative family care.
Our CEO Catherine Wanjohi facilitated a session on Monday, to speak about the importance of psychosocial support and trauma counseling for GBV/VAC survivors.
This initiative will improve on access to justice and care for survivors of GBV/VAC and improve on stakeholder and partner relationship and engagement among the Government, CSOs and healthcare service providers.
