For the next three days, Life Bloom will be in Suswa for a follow up visit on the ongoing project implementation in Suswa, Narok County. The project goal was to strengthen equitable gender norms in the area. This was to be achieved through offering educational support to the children beneficiaries of two schools in the area, by providing lockers, new school uniforms, books and school fees.
Furthermore, the project was to offer psychosocial support to the children since child marriages, forced labor and Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), is rampant in the area, and the children are majorly affected.
These efforts have brought and will continue to bring about equitable gender norms in this region.
Yesterday being the first day of the three day visit, Life Bloom held sessions with the children beneficiaries to monitor their progress and to offer more psychosocial support.
