Life Bloom’s CEO, Catherine Wanjohi, a representative from the judiciary, the Honorable Magistrate Ndengeri, the Directorate of Children Services Naivasha Sub-County, Police Service officers led by the OCS, Gender desk officers, and the SGBV Cluster Network members, visited children today at the Rafiki Mwema Children Charitable Institution (CCI).
The visitors and children got the chance to interact with each other through entertainment performed by the children, and through conversations around easing the access of justice for the children.
The magistrate reported that children’s cases are being given priority, and the uptake of the cases is being enhanced. She also reported that a counseling room was being made ready for the children to get psychosocial support.
This was all in the effort of ensuring timely justice for children ✊
