Life Bloom’s team of counselors responded to a CALL FOR SUPPORT for the families and survivors of the Mai Mahiu disaster which saw multiple households get affected.
We set up camp at the Naivasha Sub-County Hospital and in Ngeya Girls Mai Mahiu to join hands with the Medics, Kenya Red Cross Society Nakuru County Government – Official the National Government, Kenya Professional Counselling Association (KPCA) and the Naivasha SGBV Networking Cluster, to support in the capacity of offering psychosocial support and arranging for donations to reach the survivors.
Psychosocial support is an aspect that is often forgotten in the face of a disaster. Life Bloom will continue working tirelessly to bridge this gap!
