Life Bloom’s team is privileged to be attending a crucial 3-day workshop organized by the Nakuru County Government – Official and International Labor Organization to continue the process of planning for an economic empowerment program under Private Public Development Partnerships (PPDP), which began in January, for vulnerable women, Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) and the youth. Life Bloom was tasked with identifying vulnerable women who are in sex work in Naivasha, and who could benefit from this opportunity, offer life skills training and also, offer psychosocial support.
A report was presented during the meeting to detail the process that shall be followed in opening the Naivasha Empowerment Centre in the Modern Naivasha Market. Crucial representatives from the private and public sectors will be sitting in this three day workshop for the success of the centre.
