LAUNCH OF THE CHILDREN SERVICE MONTH 2024

The sun was just beginning to cast its warm rays in Mai Mahiu as Catherine Wanjohi the CEO of Life Bloom, a non-profit dedicated to children’s rights and welfare, arrived at Mai Mahiu with Principal Magistrate Hon. Juliana Ndeng’eri and Chief Principle Lutta. Today marked the launch of the Children’s Justice Service Month.
The principal magistrate has been on the forefront on issues of sexual exploitation, children justice, and fair justice for the children.
Catherine, known for her tireless advocacy, had sought partnership with the judiciary and the ODPP office through the principal magistrate.
Hon. Ndeng’eri, a beacon of hope for countless children, had been instrumental in championing issues of sexual exploitation, child justice, and fair trials for the young. Her unwavering commitment to justice had earned her the respect of the legal community and the admiration of the public by creating child-friendly courtrooms.
As they walked towards the venue of the launch, their conversation continued, their voices filled with hope and determination. They were united by a common goal: to ensure that every child, regardless of their circumstances, had access to justice, protection, and a brighter future. The Children’s Justice Service Month was not just an event; it was a testament to their unwavering commitment to the cause.
