Life Bloom’s team, together with the team from Equality Now conducted a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) for survivors of sex trafficking and exploitation. The important discussion was organized to identify gaps in access to justice for and by the survivors.
The group focused on women survivors from Naivasha where they shared their challenging experiences in their pursuit of justice against the violence they have faced in the hands of perpetrators.
From a point of experience, the women also shared intervention measures they thought would break the cycle of violence against women. One was through mentorship of young girls at risk of trafficking and exploitation, and two, law reformation.
