Life Bloom offers protection to survivors of Human Trafficking and Gender Based Violence by offering Psychosocial support. Protection is one of our main pillars. In every case of GBV we come across, the mental health aspect of the survivor is gravely affected.
As the first response, we carter to their mental health through Counseling sessions and walk the journey with the survivor to ensure restored hope, self-esteem and thriving. We are governed by our Theory of Change to ensure regained choice and control for all our beneficiaries.
To address the problem of inadequate psychosocial support, we have also trained and graduated more than 40 community counselors in the past two years operating in Naivasha and Gilgil Sub-Counties.
