Our team camped in Suswa for three days last week to follow up on the project that begun in June 2023. Life Bloom has walked the journey with the children beneficiaries and women, who have experienced psychological, economic and educational change and transformation.
During the visit, psychosocial support and education progress monitoring was offered to beneficiaries and non-beneficiaries. Furthermore, a stakeholders meeting among Life Bloom’s team, local leaders and school leaders was held on the third day to discuss on the education progress of beneficiaries, and to also plan ahead in lieu of the training of children counselors that is set to begin in June 2024.
Lastly, a rescue centre will be established to support children survivors of exploitation where they will be sheltered, receive basic needs and psychosocial support.
