As things return to normalcy after the Mai Mahiu disaster, survivors still need support from individuals and Direct Assistance from humanitarian organizations and developmental organizations. Since day one of the disaster, and 24 days later, Life Bloom has continued to dedicate its team of counselors to offer Direct Assistance through psychosocial support to the survivors and their families. Children are often forgotten during the face of a disaster in terms of psychosocial support. Our team has ensured this gap has been bridged everyday since through child therapy techniques and continuous monitoring of the children.
