Life Bloom joins the world in marking the International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation (FGM).
During our work in Narok County, we have encountered numerous women and girls who by force of culture, underwent FGM. The health and psychological implication this violation has on the women and girls is adverse. Through the local leadership, Chief Dansen Reson who is a government collaborator and also a champion against FGM, we have been able to educate the residence of Suswa Narok County on the negative effects of the practice.
We commend such great Leadership and vow to continue supporting his efforts of ending FGM in his area of jurisdiction and beyond.
