Nawiri Sanitary Project

Life Bloom has an established local brand of sanitary towels known as Nawiri targeting women and girls from low income areas. Nawiri is a quality, accessible and an affordable sanitary napkins in Kenya. This project will provide 2 free sanitary pads packets per month and 4 inner wear to 250 girls (11-20 years old) living in urban poor settings, whose families income streams are drastically affected by the Covid-19 pandemic With schools closed, and opportunities for free pads access gone,majority have resulted to domestic servitude, sexual exploitation and selling of worms to fishermen/women to buy one packet of pads at $0.50. The fund will cover the cost of 1 packet of sanitary napkin @ $0.50</p>
